Strikes Against SOPA: The Internet Censorship Bill

On January 24, Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) will be presented to the US Senate,
Petitions by vast majority of Americans are ignored, so they are forming an alliance to go on strike against the bill by shutting down their website for a day as a sign of protest. **updated 16th Jan: SOPA was shelved prematurely after huge opposition**

So how will this affect Malaysians? --- A 1 day internet-less life on 18th Jan, then it is back to normal. This Bill is similar to the one enacted in our country - MCMC bill against file sharing site.

These are the unfiltered list of websites going on strike. I did saw Facebook, Google was asked to go on strike though they weren't responding to the request. There are other major internet players though that joined the strike
